The Complete Works of Wm. Shakespeare (Abridged) is a rollicking, fast paced performance to be held as theatre in-the-round, with little set.  Olympia Little Theatre will be auditioning for 3 actors: two men playing Adam and Daniel; Jess can be cast as either male or female.

Each role requires high energy, sharp improvisational and comedic timing, physicality, and above all, a sense of fun.  This play is performed at rapid fire pace, and to ensure our audience can completely enjoy the dialogue and its many subtleties we prefer actors without accents.  Still, if you have a great one, we will listen.  “Pirate slang” would delight the director and the stage manager.

If you have a two minute funny monologue or funny Shakespeare routine we would love to hear it at auditions.

Auditions will consist of improvisational theatre games, team games, script sides, as well as each auditioner’s own memorized monologues, if any.

Rehearsals will be mostly 3 times a week Tuesday-Thursday 6:30-9:30pm with more scheduled later in the rehearsal period, closer to performance.  “Shakespeare” runs February 19 through March 14; shows are generally Thursday-Saturday nights at 7:55pm and Sundays at 1:55pm.

If you have any questions, you can email the director, Erich Brown at erich@thewyt.com or call 360 349-6480.

We look forward to seeing you in January for auditions for this great show!
